Our Heritage today is based on all the things that we have done and said in the past and this cannot be changed. However our Heritage of the future is just now being developed and it is in the hands of us all. We need to strive to sow the good seed even though we may not be the ones who will reap the harvest.
As Masons we emphasize Brotherly-love, Relief and Truth in all that we do and say. However, we also remember that TRUTH is a divine attribute and is the foundation of every good virtue of humankind.
Our organization offers teachings and guidance in ways to be a better man, husband and father and contribute in a positive manner to all mankind. Masons contribute more than 2 million dollars a day to charity (Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation, Royal Arch Research Assistance, Shrine Burn Hospitals, Children's Hospitals to name only a few), but also they give of their time by transporting children to Shrine Hospitals, visiting the Veteran Hospitals, Widows and Orphan Assistance, and Volunteer Services.
To become a Freemason, a candidate must ask a Freemason for an application for membership. We do not solicit membership because we only want those candidates who want to join of their own freewill and accord. As Masons we desire members who want to make a positive contribution to their community, themselves and most of all mankind in general.
